When I was filming this review for the Winterseer Animal Oracle, it seemed like the universe was completely against me. I did not even open my Amazon package until it was time to film because I wanted my honest first impressions. Day 1 resulted in no filming because of noisy kids and then construction workers creating too much noise. Day 2 was quiet enough but other issues crept up. My lights kept shutting off and I recorded the initial unboxing without actually pressing record (well, I pressed it – but the camera didn’t start recording. Fun times!).

Then my computer did not want to export the edited video!

But I finally got this review up and now I can start working with the cards which I have already fallen in love with.

Winterseer Animal Oracle

The artwork of an oracle card is one of the most important things I consider when I choose oracle cards. I am a very visual person and connect with the visuals more than the written words of the guidebook.

This deck, Winterseer Animal Oracle, is a wonderful mix of both worlds.

If you are a visual reader, the illustrations by Siolo Thompson will captivate your intuition.

If you prefer the written word, the companion guidebook is a wonderfully written piece of inspiration that will help you decipher the meaning of each card.

Combines, this deck is just a wonderful addition to any tarot or oracle collection.

Siolo Thompson is quickly becoming one of my favourite creators. I cannot wait to add more of her decks and works to my own personal collection. I am not one to usually buy the Llewelyn calendars or almanacs, at least not since my teenage years many moons ago, but I may have to add the Greenwitch Botanical Calendar to my cart this year because of the beautiful artwork.
