I have been journaling for years.

There are many different ways to journal and over time you will discover what works best for you. The tips that I have for you today are not about the style of journaling and therefore can apply to whatever manifestation journaling technique you like to do.

  • gratitude journaling
  • future self journaling or scripting
  • success journal
  • happiness journal

In my personal practice, I have a few different journals that I use at different times depending on my mood. I choose whichever method is in flow with my mindset at the time.

3 Tips For Manifestation Journaling

I am going to start with a bonus tip. Something that is so important for those of you who are just starting out on this journey.

Just start writing.

If you never begin, you will never know the possibilities that this technique could provide for you. So believe in yourself and start now.

Focus On Your Words

The words you use in your manifestation journaling, and your daily life are very important. For my daily gratitude journaling, I find this to be even more important.

Compare the following sentences. They both mean similar things to our conscious minds but, to our subconscious mind, one is much more powerful.

  • I am able to pay my debts.
  • Money comes to me easily and effortlessly.

When you say the word debt, you are thinking about debt. We do not want to manifest more debt into our life by thinking about it. Reframe your mind to know that you have all the money you need to live your dream life.

By speaking about money in a positive light – money comes to me easy. I have more than enough. I am a money magnet – we are retraining our subconscious to see money in abundance as opposed to in lack.

Watch your words in everyday life. If you catch yourself phrasing something in a negative light, rephrase it as quickly as you can. Instead of “I have no patience today.” think of “My patience is increasing every day.”

Your wording is key.

The more you practice expressing your thoughts as positives, the easier it will become.

Let Thoughts Flow

When I first started with journaling, I was judgemental of my thoughts and my words. I had a hard time letting the positive thoughts and dreams leave my head and enter into the physical world in their written form. I had a fear of judgement, even though it was my own private journal. I had a hear of failure and let the “what ifs” creep into my mind.

Can you relate to this?

We might have a hard time believing the words that we write on the page because we are not yet in the mindset of abundance and prosperity. But there is nothing to fear. If we can begin to trust ourselves and believe that what we want is achievable, then we can move mountains.

Don’t let the “what ifs” stop you from dreaming big.

Stream of conscious journaling, when you are writing in a state of flow, can be very powerful.

It might not be a beginner-friendly technique, especially if you are still focusing on rewording statements as per tip one. If you can get yourself into an abundance mindset, I would recommend just letting the words flow and see what your mind can dream up without you really thinking about it.

Sometimes I find myself writing about a day in the future, where I am living my dream life. Little details, like the colour of the flowers in the garden or the smell of the food cooking on the stove, will come to me as I am writing and this helps to raise my vibration and make my manifestation even more powerful.

Try it.

Set It and Forget It

One of the most important parts of manifestation is to trust the universe.

After you set your intention in your manifestation journal, or in meditation, you need to forget it and go about your day.

If you continuously are looking and checking to see if what you are desiring has come, it is a sign that you are not in alignment. You are not trusting the universe to deliver.

When you order something online, you do not keep checking the mailbox continuously for it to arrive. You trust that the company will ship it and it will arrive. Think of your manifestation in the same way.

Trust in the process and go on with your day.

Align your actions with your dream life and live as if. If your dream is to lose 50lbs, take actions to reach that goal but don’t keep stepping on the scale to see if it has happened yet. If you are manifesting the love of your life, get out and socialize but don’t expect each person to meet to be the one. Trust is key.
