Affirmations are powerful tools for the law of attraction. Today I want to demonstrate to you how to use an affirmation style I love: wouldn’t it be nice.
The other week, I shared this new style of affirmations. A perfect method for beginners or those struggling to feel the emotions associated with traditional affirmations.
Wouldn’t It Be Nice If…
When you cannot feel the emotions associated with traditional “I Am” affirmations, try this technique instead. The power of affirmations lies in their abilities to make you feel the emotions associated with them. Sometimes you feel like a fraud saying them and that is not helping your manifestation.
Try Wouldn’t It Be Nice
I am in a loving and committed relationship turns into Wouldn’t it be nice to be in a loving and committed relationship?
I wish I had time to read becomes Wouldn’t it be nice if I had time to read every day?
Or perhaps, I am my ideal weight becomes Wouldn’t it be amazing if I were my ideal weight?
The simple change in verbiage changes it from something that was difficult to feel, to something that can be easily imagined. There are lots of articles about the power of affirmations.
You can also change it to a phrase that fits more with your personal sense of style and expression.
Wouldn’t it be cool if…
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if…
How would you change that phrase into words that feel true to you?
Feel The Emotions
Like most forms of manifestation, you need to feel the emotions associated with your intention.
The joy of this style of affirmation is that it is literally questioning whether it would be nice to have this and makes you think about what it is that you want.
When you think about your intention and what you want in this life, how does it feel to have that thing?
It sure is nice to have that dream car, it makes me feel powerful. It makes me feel safe. Plus, just look how cool it is! It is also my favourite colour! That colour makes me so happy.
Try Out This Manifestation Style!
If you have been struggling with I am affirmations, give the wouldn’t it be nice format a try. It may help you connect to your inner power and allow you to utilize the law of attraction and manifest your dreams.
There is no specific time to use this affirmation style.
If you are feeling down or blue, try cheering yourself up with some daydreaming about what it is that you would like to achieve with this life. It would be amazing to have that life, wouldn’t it?
How does that make you feel? What emotions are stirred up as you imagine yourself in that reality?
You can take a few minutes to do this when you wake up, before you go to bed, as you are in the bathroom, walking the dog, sitting on public transport – the options are endless! You do not need a vision board, affirmation post-it notes, or anything to be able to tap into this energy that exists inside of you.
